Academics

In 2005, Evanston had an average composite ACT score of 21.9, and graduated 91.5% of its senior class. Evanston has not made Adequate Yearly Progress on the Prairie State Achievement Examination, a state test part of the No Child Left Behind Act.^[1]

Athletics

Evanston competes in the Central Suburban League and Illinois High School Association. Its mascot is the Wildkits. ETHS's main sports rival is New Trier High School.
